PM provides financial assistance to 8 organisations

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday gave financial assistance of Tk 140 crore to eight organisations.

“The Prime Minister handed over cheques to the authorities concerned of the eight organisations at her official residence, Ganabhaban, this noon,” said PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim.

He said the Prime Minister gave Tk 25 crore each to Muktijuddho Jadughar, Non-government Educational Institutions Teachers and Employees Welfare Trust, Non-government Educational Institutions Teachers and Employees Retirement Benefit Board and Government Primary School Teachers’ Welfare Fund.

Besides, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Memorial Museum received Tk 15 crore and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Memorial KPJ Specialised Hospital and the Imam and Muazzin Welfare Trust received Tk 10 crore each.

The Prime Minister donated Tk five crore to Neurodevelopmental Disabled Protection Trust, the press secretary added.
