Fire at Kalyanpur petrol pump under control

A fire that broke out at a petrol pump in Kalyanpur area of Dhaka this afternoon has been brought under control.

Ten units of firefighters brought the blaze under control at 5:25 pm, around half an hour after it originated at Sahil Filling Station, fire service and civil defence headquarters sources told The Daily Star.

No casualty was reported till filing the report around 6:20 pm. The reason behind the incident could not be known immediately.
