Patuakhali road crash kills father, injures son

A man was killed and his son injured as their motorbike and another vehicle, locally known as Tom Tom, collided head-on in Patuakhali yesterday.

The accident occurred on Mirzaganj-Barguna road in Golakhali area of Mirzaganj upazila.

Alom Mridha, 48, from Maitha village in Barguna, was declared dead at Mirzaganj Upazila Health Complex, said police.

His son Bellal Hossain, 30, was undergoing treatment there, said Masumur Rahman Biswas, officer-in-charge of Mirzaganj Police Station.
