Over 300 retired senior govt officials express solidarity with AL

Over 300 retired senior public servants, including former chairmen of different commissions, senior secretaries and secretaries, yesterday expressed their solidarity with pro-Liberation War forces led by Awami League and the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

They expressed their solidarity after meeting the PM at Gono Bhaban.

Former ACC chairman M Badiuzzaman, former principal secretary Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, former chairman of Energy Regulatory Commission AR Khan, former chairman of Privatisation Commission Mollah Wahiduzzaman, former comptroller and auditor general Masud Ahmed, and former senior secretaries Mezbah-ul Alam and Unusur Rahman are among 57 retired senior officials who expressed their solidarity.

Besides, 250 more former officials of civil services cadres including police, income tax, information, post, education and health, and former members of BCS (administration extended their solidarity with the government led by Hasina.
