One killed in train accident in Ctg

A man was crushed under a train in Oxygen area of Chattogram city yesterday.

Zakir Hossain, sub-inspector of Sholoshahar police outpost, quoting family members said the victim, Mutaleb Mia, 35, from Netrakona, was mentally ill.

The train ran him over after Mutaleb did not get off the train tracks despite whistle was blown several times, he added. His body was sent to Chattogram Medical College morgue for an autopsy.
