One killed in Natore road accident

Two buses collided head-on and one of them hit a motorbike from behind, killing the biker and injuring five bus passengers in Natore yesterday, said police.

Birendranath Pahan, 38, from Nabinkrisnapur village in Sadar upazila, died instantly.

Shariful Islam, in-charge of Jhalmalia Highway Police Camp, said a Dhaka-bound bus of Grameen Travels and a Chapainawabganj-bound of Chapai Express collided at Ahmedpur in the upazila.

The injured were given first aid at local clinics.
