NSU celebrates Bangabandhu's birth anniversary

North South University (NSU) celebrated the 99th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, said a press release yesterday.

On the occasion, NSU held a discussion on the life of Bangabandhu. The programme was moderated by Jamil Ahmed, director of Public Relations Office. Parisa Shakur, director on student affairs, delivered welcome address.

Prime Minister's Media Adviser Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury was present as chief guest at the discussion presided over by NSU Vice Chancellor Prof Atique Islam.

NSU trustee board members Azim Uddin Ahmed and Benajir Ahmed, pro-VC (designate) Prof GU Ahsan, Treasurer Prof Gour Gobinda Goswami along with deans, proctor, administrative heads, faculty members, senior officials and students were also present.
