Motorcyclist killed in accident

A motorcyclist was killed and his pillion injured in a road accident on Ranishankoil-Nekmarad road at Sandharoi village of Ranishankoil upazila in Thakurgaon on Saturday night.

The deceased is Sujan, 28, son of Ataur Rahman of Guchia village under the same upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Ranishankoil Police Station said the accident took place around 9pm when the biker hit a tractor from behind. Sujan died on the spot and Juwel, 28, was severely injured.

Juwel was taken to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
