Memorial meeting for Supriyo Chakravarty

A memorial meeting for Supriyo Chakravarty, a freedom fighter and husband of rights activist Sultana Kamal, will be held at Chhayanaut auditorium in Dhaka today.

Relatives, friends and colleagues of Supriyo are organising the event titled “Priyo Supriyo”, where his loved ones and civil society representatives will be present, said a press release.

Supriyo, also a cultural activist and an income tax lawyer, passed away in Dhaka on July 29.
