Man shot dead in Ctg

Robbers shot a man to death in Chattogram yesterday.

Md Amin, 55, was guarding their litchi garden near their house at Centre Para in Chandpur area of Banshkhali upazila, said police.

A gang of robbers stormed the house, looted it, and shot Amin when he tried to resist them on the way.

He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injures, said Assistant Sub-Inspector Alauddin Talukdar of CMCH Police Outpost.

OC Kamal said the robbers snatched jewellery and mobile phones. Efforts were on to arrest them, he said.
