Man killed in road accident

An elderly man was killed in an accident on Thakurgaon-Baliadangi road in Thakurgaon on Thursday night as a truck hit him while he was crossing the road.

The deceased was identified as Nurul Haque (65) of Aladibazar.

Soon after the incident, locals seized the truck but its driver and helper managed to flee.
