Man killed in road accident

A man was killed and another injured in a road accident in Kashiani upazila of Gopalganj yesterday.

The deceased is Mahamud Hasan, a driver of Agrani Bank.

The incident took place when Mahamud lost control over the vehicle he was driving and hit a roadside tree, said Aminur Rahman, sub-inspector of Ramdia Police Outpost, adding that he died on the spot.

The injured was taken to Faridpur Medical College Hospital, the SI added.
