Man held with 3,403 yaba pills at Dhaka airport

Airport Armed Police detained a person with 3,403 pieces of yaba tablets at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka early today.

Moksedul Hawlader, 26, hailing from Patuakhali, was held around 3:00am while he was suspiciously roaming outside the domestic terminal, said Alamgir Hosen, additional superintendent of police of Airport Armed Police.

Later, the yaba pills were found after his bag was searched, the official said.

The seized yaba is worth around Tk 16.5 lakh, he added.
