Man found dead in Netrakona

Police recovered the body of a man from a paddy field at Moujebali village in Netrakona Sadar upazila yesterday.

Mamun Mia, 38, was owner of a tea stall in the area. He was working late on Thursday night, said Uttam Kumar Roy, officer-in-charge of Netrakona Model Police Station, quoting family members.

In the morning, locals found the body, which bore injury marks on the neck, he said. It was sent for autopsy. A case was filed.
