Man found dead beside highway

A man was found dead beside Dhaka-Tangail highway in Savar yesterday.

Police recovered the body of Saddam Hossen, 25, a driver by profession, in Baraipara area.

Javed Masud, inspector (investigation) of Ashulia Police Station, said criminals hacked Saddam at night and dumped the body on the spot. The body bore injury marks, he said.

The body was sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy.
