Man dies after wall collapses in Chattogram

A man died in the Double Mooring area of Agrabad in Chattogram this morning after a wall collapsed on him while painting it.

The deceased was identified as Nurul Islam (45), hailing from Lalkhan Bazar inKhulshi area, reports our staff correspondent quoting Shilabroto Das, Nayek of Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police box.

The accident took place near Fakir Moulovi Shah Mazar around 9 am.

Mamun Mia, the younger brother of the deceased, said that his brother was hired to paint the boundary wall of a house in the area. He was critically injured after the wall fell on him.

Nurul succumbed to his injuries at CMCH, where he was brought around 10 am, the police official said.
