Man arrested with firearms, ammo

Detectives yesterday arrested a man with firearms and ammunition in Tangon area of Charghat upazila in Rajshahi.

Two pistols and five bullets in three magazines were seized from Sujon alias Jalil, 26, from the area, said Md Shahidullah, superintendent of police in Rajshahi.

In primary interrogation, Jalil told police that he was working as a carrier of firearms for the last one and half months, said the SP.
