Man arrested with 19,100 yaba pills

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab-7) yesterday recovered 19,100 yaba tablets from a microbus and arrested the driver in Char Patharghata area in Chattogram city.

The arrestee was identified as Ibrahim Khalil, 33, hailing from Khulna.

During primary interrogation, Khalil admitted that the yaba tablets were bought from Cox's Bazar and being taken to Dhaka, Rab claimed.

Khalil has been involved in the yaba trade for a long time, Rab claimed.

A case has been filed in this regard.
