Majeda Begum no more

Majeda Begum, mother of Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim, died on Monday, at age 73.

She breathed her last at Khulna City Medical College Hospital. She had been suffering from heart, kidney and diabetes problems.

Majeda left behind her four sons, two daughters and a host of admirers to mourn her death, Advocate M Jewel Ahmed, assistant personal secretary to the minister, told The Daily Star.
