Khondoker Abul Hashem passes away

Al-Hajj Khondoker Abul Hashem passed away yesterday at the age of 97.

He was the father of Sajedin Ara, former accounts officer of The Daily Star, said a press release.

Khondoker left behind four daughters, a son and grandchildren to mourn his death. 

His namaz-e-janaza will be held today after Zuhr prayers at Baitul Haram Mosque on Nazrul Islam Road in Mohammadpur, the release added.
