Jumatul Wida observed

Muslims across the country yesterday observed Jumatul Wida, the last Friday of Ramadan, with due religious zeal and reverence.

A large number of devotees attended Jum’a prayers at mosques, with special munajats seeking divine blessings for peace and progress of the country and the unity of the Muslim Ummah.

The biggest congregation was held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, while special arrangements were made to accommodate additional devotees at all mosques of the city.

Before the prayers, imams and khateebs delivered sermons on the importance of Ramadan, Eitekaf, Eid-ul-Fitr and other religious issues.
