Jebunnesa Begum passes away

Jebunnesa Begum, wife of freedom fighter and lawyer Badiul Alam, was laid to rest at her ancestral home on September 1.

She breathed her last at her DOHS residence in the capital's Baridhara. She was 88.

She left behind his seven daughters, two sons, grandsons and granddaughters, and a host of well-wishers to mourn her death.

Her first namaz-e-janaza was held after Juma prayers at Baridhara DOHS mosque.
