Jahurul Islam's death anniversary

Today is the 23rd death anniversary of Alhajj Jahurul Islam, founder of Islam Group.

On this day in 1995, he died at the age of 67, says a press release.

A milad and doa mahfil will be held at his Bhagalpur village residence in Kishoreganj.

His family requested all of his relatives and well-wishers to attend the programmes.

A prominent businessman, entrepreneur and social activist, Jahurul was born in the village of Bajitpur upazila on August 1, 1928.
