Iqbal Ansari’s death anniv

Today is the 20th death anniversary of freedom fighter and eminent social worker Iqbal Ansari Khan.

He was the vice president of both Jagannath College and Dhaka College students’ union, and he actively took part in the language movement.

After completing his MA in International Relation and LLB, Iqbal joined the Bar Council.

Iqbal took active part in the Liberation War. In 1987-88, he was the district governor of Rotary Iinternational District 3280. As a Rotarian, he participated in many conferences and conventions.

He had authored three books: “The Third Eye”, “The Babri Mosque” and a book on jokes.
