Four killed in road accidents

Four persons were killed and another injured in road accidents in two districts during the last two days.

In Sirajganj, two motorcyclists were killed as a truck hit a bike in Pachalia area near Bangabandhu bridge-Hatikumrul highway on Wednesday night, reports our Pabna correspondent.

The deceased were Tanvir, 22; and Ajim, 17.

Hatikumrul Highway Police Station OC Akteruzzaman said the accident occurred at 10pm.

BSS from Bhola adds, two motorcyclists were killed and another was injured when their bike and a cattle-laden truck collided in Borhanuddin yesterday.

The deceased were identified as Shadat Hossain, 24, and Mizan, 23.

The injured was admitted to local Sadar Hospital.

Borhanuddin Police Station OC said they seized the truck and were trying to arrest the driver.
