Fatema Kabir passes away

Central leaders and advisors of the committee yesterday expressed deep shock at her death. 

Fatema was actively involved with all movements against fundamentalism and communalism in Bangladesh, a statement said.

“We are deeply shocked at her [Fatema] death,” members and advisors said, adding, “We express our condolences to the bereaved family members, her colleagues and co-activists.”

She will be buried at the capital’s Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals’ Graveyard after Zohr prayers tomorrow. Her qulkhwani will be held at Shahriar Kabir’s residence after Asr prayers on Friday.
