Ershad flies back home

Jatiya Party Chairman and leader of the opposition in parliament HM Ershad last night returned home from Singapore, after completing treatment.

Ershad, who has been suffering from multiple health complications, left Dhaka on January 20, and was admitted to National University Hospital Singapore.

He landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:50pm by a Singapore Airlines flight, SM Faisal Chisti, a JP presidium member told this newspaper.

JP sources said he may join the parliament session within a day or two.
