Emmy-winning author on board for screenplay on Bangabandhu

Cosmos Foundation has signed an agreement with Stephen Davis, an Emmy Award-winning screenwriter, playwright and novelist, to write the screenplay of a feature film based on the life of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

As per agreement, the first draft will be delivered by January 31 next year.

Earlier in May 2018, Cosmos Foundation published a book titled “Bangabandhu: Epitome of a Nation” authored by Enayetullah Khan, chairman of the foundation and editor-in-chief of United News of Bangladesh (UNB) and Dhaka Courier.
