Dog relocation must stop

Fifteen media personalities have expressed grave concern over the ongoing relocation of stray dogs from Dhaka South City Corporation. In a statement yesterday, they said the animals are being driven out cruelly and unfairly.

They demanded that city corporation authorities improve canine​​ management, and implement benign control mechanisms.

It was signed by Ramendu Majumder, Ferdousi Majumder, Sara Zaker, Dr Sarwar Ali, Prof Abdus Selim, Prof Shafi Ahmed, Mofidul Hoque, Mannan Heera, Hasan Arif, Masum Reza, Aly Zaker, Nasiruddin Yousuff, Golam Quddus, and Mamunur Rashid.
