CU organises MUN conference

A four-day Model United Nations (MUN) conference concluded at Chittagong University (CU) yesterday with an award ceremony.

With the theme of “Envisioning sustainable future through addressing global challenges”, the MUN conference was organised by United Nations Association (CUMUNA).

More than 350 delegates from Bangladesh, Malaysia, India, Nepal, Indonesia and Afghanistan participated in the conference.

The first three days of the conference featured five discussions on challenges of Sustainable Development Goals in ten model committees of the UN.

CU Proctor Ali Asgar Chowdhury, Prof Sajib Kumar Ghosh, Prof Amir Md Nasrullah, and Dhaka UN Information Centre National Information Officer Md Monirujjaman were present at the closing ceremony.
