Crude bomb found near Madhur Canteen of DU

An unexploded crude bomb was found in front of Madhur Canteen on Dhaka University campus this morning.

People noticed the bomb lying at the spot around 11:30am and informed the Ramna Police Station, reports our Dhaka University correspondent.

A bomb disposal unit reached the spot and disposed it off around 12:00pm.

“A vested quarter has done such thing in an attempt to destabilise the situation,” claimed DU Proctor, Golam Rabbani regarding the finding of the bomb.

The incident is not an isolated one, it is connected with the occurrence of past few days, the proctor also said.
