Cops raid at Chattogram club; 20 to 25 held

Law enforcers detained some 20 to 25 people from a club in Chattogram city this evening on suspicion that they were involved in gambling and drug abuse.

A police team started the drive at the Hang Out club near Almas Cinema Hall in the port city around 8:00pm, Md Mohosin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kotwali Police Station, told our staff correspondent in Chattogram.

The police team is continuing the raid till last reported.

The detention was made on suspicion and further action would be taken after primary investigation, said OC Mohsin.
