Contributions to LWM made easy by bKash

From now on, people from any corner of Bangladesh can make donations to the Liberation War Museum (LWM), via mobile financial service -- thus contributing to the museum's efforts in preserving the history of the war.

As part of the museum's latest fund-raising campaign, bKash, a mobile financial service, joined in with the launch of a payment gateway on the LWM website. The event was held at the auditorium of the museum in Dhaka yesterday, says a press release.

Using the payment gateway, anyone can make financial contributions. Name, email and amount of money will be required to complete the process, and bKash will not charge individuals for said donations.
