Conspirators' dreams won't come true: Hanif

Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif yesterday said the dream of those plotting to foil the forthcoming parliamentary elections would never come true.

“Some people are hatching conspiracies centring the upcoming national election to foil it… But their dream would never come true. People will resist all types of conspiracies with an iron hand,” he told journalists before attending a meeting of his party activists at his residence in Kushtia.

Awami League's Kushtia town unit General Secretary Ataur Rahman Ata, district unit General Secretary Faruquzzaman and Organising Secretary Sheikh Hasan Mehedi, among others, were present.

Hanif urged party leaders and activists to remain alert against all types of conspiracies over the polls.
