Conference held at IUB

A conference titled “Quadrangulated Quandary” was held at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) in Dhaka on Thursday.

The Global Studies and Governance (GSG) Program of the School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (SLASS) at IUB organised it, says a press release.

Prof Milan Pagon, vice chancellor (acting), delivered welcome address. Dr Mashiur Rahman, economic affairs adviser to the prime minister; A Matin Chowdhury, chairman, board of trustees, IUB; and Dr Imtiaz A Hussain, dean (acting) of SLASS, were present, among others.

Dr Niaz Zaman, advisor, department of English and modern languages, IUB, also spoke at the event.
