BSD seeks judicial probe into Chawkbazar fire

Bangladesh Samajtantrik Dal formed a human chain in front of Rangpur Press Club yesterday, demanding judicial investigation into Chawkbazar fire.

The speakers said such incident would not have taken place had the government learnt lesson from Nimtoli fire incident.

They said many are trying to defend traders storing chemicals in warehouses in Old Dhaka's Chawkbazar area. The protesters termed such an attempt a conspiracy.
