Brick kiln fined for burning wood

A mobile court in a drive yesterday fined a brick kiln in Chattogram's Hathazari upazila Tk 1 lakh for burning wood as fuel.

The court also confiscated 500 maunds of wood from the site of KBC Brickfield.

Hathazari Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ruhul Amin led the drive in Charia area of the upazila.
