Boy killed in Dhaka road accident

An eleven-year-old boy was killed after being hit by an unknown vehicle while he was crossing a road in Bhatara area of Dhaka yesterday.

Atik, a student of a local madrasa, was rushed to Kurmitola General Hospital where doctors declared him dead, said Sub-Inspector Bilkis Aktar of Bhatara Police Station.

Police could not seize the vehicle as its driver sped up, she said.
