Boy drowns in Ctg pond

A two-and-a-half-year old boy drowned in a pond in Chattogram yesterday.

Aditya Mahajan, son of Swapan Mahajan from Battol area of Boalkhali upazila, was declared dead at Boalkhali Upazila Health Complex, said doctors.

The incident happened while he was playing on their yard adjacent to the pond, Dr Santanu Das, emergency medical officer of the health complex, quoted his family as saying.
