Book fair to begin in Ctg tomorrow

The Amar Ekushey Grantha Mela will start at the gymnasium of MA Aziz Stadium in the port city tomorrow.

The book fair will feature a total of 110 stalls, said Nazmul Haque Duke, convener of Ekushey Grantha Mela Udjapan Parishad, Chattogram. He said a total of 55 publishers from Dhaka would participate in the fair.

The fair will continue till February 28, he added.

It would remain open from 3pm to 9pm everyday, said Nazmul, also a councillor of Chattogram City Corporation (CCC). On Fridays and Saturdays and government holidays, the fair would remain open from 10am to 9pm.

The book fair is being organised by “Gyan O Srijanshil Prokashana Parishad”, under CCC's patronisation, he added.
