Woman's beheaded body found in Savar

Police recovered the beheaded body of an unidentified woman from a plastic sack beside a road in Kathgora Paloan Para area of Savar yesterday.

Locals first noticed the bloodstained sack and informed police, said Javed Masud, inspector (investigation) of Ashulia Police Station.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.

A case was filed in this regard.
