Bhorer Kagoj journalist passes away

Aslam Rahman, staff reporter of Bhorer Kagoj, passed away yesterday night after being ill for the last 10-12 days.

According to his colleague Imran Rahman, Aslam (38) had been suffering from fever and diarrhoea. He had lost consciousness at his Shaheenbag residence around 8:00pm.

After taking him to a private hospital, his family took him to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the duty doctor declared him dead around 11:00pm.

Aslam has left behind his wife, a son and a daughter.
