BAF SEMC distributes Eid gifts among economically disadvantaged

BAF Shaheen English Medium College distributed Eid gifts among more than 200 economically disadvantaged coronavirus-affected people on May 12.

More than 200 people from the college neighbourhood and Mohakhali area who were economically affected due to the pandemic received cash, food and essentials in the form of Eid gifts on this occasion.

SEMC authorities arranged the programme at the college premises while maintaining social distance and health safety measures.

"This relief, ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, will help me to support my family at least for a few days," said Amena Begum, a 65-year-old lady in a wheelchair.

The principal, senior teachers and members of the Community Service Club at SEMC distributed the relief.
