AUW opens doors to Clifton Group staff

Clifton Group, a readymade garment (RMG) company in the port city, yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding with Asian University for Women (AUW), under which five employees of the company will be selected this year to  study at the university free of cost.

AUW will cover all academic and accommodation costs of the students, while Clifton Group will continue to pay their monthly salary, says a press release.

AUW registrar Dr Dave Dowland and CEO of Clifton Group Md M Mohiuddin Chowdhury signed the MoU at the latter’s head office in Chattogram.
