Around 300 sued over clash with police at Press Club

A case have been filed against around 300 people over a series of clashes between the activists of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal and police in front of the National Press Club yesterday.

Thirty named and around 250 unnamed persons were made accused in the case filed for "assault on police" with Shahbagh Police Station, said Harunur Rashid, additional deputy commissioner of Ramna Zone.

So far 12 people have been arrested in the case as of this morning, the ADC added.
