Army chief adorned with rank badge

Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed was adorned with the rank badge of 7th Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineers at Qadirabad Cantonment in Natore yesterday.

Senior Commanding Officer of the Corps of Engineers Lt Col Faruq and Senior Subedar (honorary captain) Maj Rashid adorned the army chief with the rank badge, said an ISPR press release.

Speaking at the event, Gen Aziz Ahmed urged all members of the Corps of Engineers to be prepared to cope with challenges, by acquiring skills through modern and time-befitting trainings.

Senior military officials of the army, civil dignitaries, as well as military and civil members of the corps were present on the occasion, the release added.
