American Alumni Association celebrates 20th anniversary

American Alumni Association (AAA) of Bangladesh celebrated its 20th anniversary at a hotel in the capital on March 12.

Economic Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister and the founding President of AAA, Dr Mashiur Rahman, was the chief guest at the event, according to a press release.

Joel Reifman, deputy chief of mission, US embassy Bangladesh, attended the event as a special guest.

The programme was also attended by members, former and present board members, dignitaries, diplomats and leading media personalities.

At the event, AAA General Secretary Arefeen Syed welcomed the guests. AAA President Nusrat Aman and members shared their thoughts on the organisation's journey.

AAA is an association of Bangladeshi graduates of American colleges and universities. It develops closer and active relationship among members.
