Admission tests at KU today

Khulna University (KU) admission tests for first-year honours courses under 2018-19 academic year commence today.

This year, a total of 27,630 applications have been filed for 1,229 seats under 29 disciplines, according to a KU press release.

In other words, about 22 candidates will compete for each seat in this year's admission tests.

Admission test of "A" unit for Science, Engineering and Technology and Life Science schools is scheduled to be held from 8:30am to 10:00am.

The "B" unit test for schools of Arts and Humanities, Social Science, and Law, and Institute of Education and Research (IER) is scheduled from 12:00pm to 1:30pm.

However, the test of Institute of Fine Arts under the same unit is scheduled from 12:00pm to 2pm.

The "C" unit test for Management and Business Administration School will be held from 3:00pm to 4:30pm.

The examinees will not be allowed to bring in cellular phones or any other electronic devices and their faces and ears cannot be covered while in the exam hall.
