Admission fair ‘Edugate’ kicks off virtually

A virtual admission fair aiming to introduce students with innovative  learning opportunities and career planning for the 'new normal' begun on Wednesday. 'Edugate', the four-day fair organised by  Daffodil Education Network (DEN) is a first of its kind for Bangladesh,  a press release said.

Each day's sessions will run from 10am to  5pm till February 6. Anyone can join the event through this link:  http://edugate.spiralworld.biz, the press release added.

On  the first day, State Minister of the Ministry of Information Dr Md Murad  Hassan virtually inaugurated the fair yesterday as chief guest. Chairperson  of Daffodil Family Dr Md Sabur Khan, acting VC of Daffodil International University (DIU)  Professor SM Mahbub-Ul-Haq Majumder, CEO of Daffodil Family Mohammad  Nuruzzaman, and Dr Shaikh Muhammad Allayear -- head of the university's  Department of Multimedia & Creative Technology and convener of  'Edugate' -- were present as special guests.

The fair features  virtual stalls by 31 branches of 20 educational institutions of DEN, the press document said.
