Aditya Kabir passes away

Poet, writer and one of the top advertising professionals of the country, Aditya Kabir passed away yesterday at the age of 50. According to close sources, Aditya Kabir died of a stroke in his sleep at his in-law's house in Uttara.

He led advertising agency CarrotComm Limited, after working for Asiatic MCL for 15 years.

He was son of noted poet and DU teacher Humayun Kabir. Aditya left behind his wife, a daughter, his mother, two sisters and a brother.

He was buried in Rayerbazar graveyard last evening. Born on November 13, 1970, Aditya got his bachelor's degree from International Relations department of DU.
